TCGC undergoes ALCUCOA Level 2 Accreditation

Tangub City Global College Three (3)-Day ALCUCOA LEVEL II ACCREDITATION commenced today, December 4, 2023, at the People's Gymnasium.

Eight programs in TCGC, namely, Bachelor of Arts in English Language, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino, Bachelor of Science in Midwifery, Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, as well as the Research Office and Learning Resource Center (Library), will be accredited to assess their quality towards producing excellent and competitive students committed to being the light of the world.

Tangub City Global College extends its warm greetings and appreciation to the esteemed accreditors for extending their time to helping the institution fulfill its mission and vision. Accreditors for this year's Level II ALCUCOA Accreditation are DR. IMELDA P. SORIANO, the Supervising Accreditor and BSEd Major in Filipino Accreditor, PROF. ALNI GAVJAYMIN B. CASACOP, the Supervising Technical Assistant, MR. LUIGI Y. MAHINAY the Administrative Assistant, PROF. ANGELEE S. DOMINGO, the Area Accreditor for Library, DR. EVELYN D. CRUZADA the BA in English Language Accreditor, DR. GERBY R. MUTYA the BA in Communication Accreditor, DR. DANIEL E. HEBRON, CPME the BSBA Human Resource Management Accreditor, DR. BERNIE E. BALMEO the BS in Office Administration Accreditor, DR. YOLANDA S. LIRA the BS in Criminology Accreditor, DR. MARMELO V. ABANTE  the BS in Computer Science Accreditor and DR. MA.  CECILIA O. MARTINEZ, the BS in Midwifery Accreditor.

Dr. Maricelle M. Nueva, College President, ALCU National Board of Director, expressed her heartfelt gratitude  to the accreditors for being part of this journey to achieve the colleges’ vision, as well as acknowledging the city mayor, city councils, faculty, staff, and students for coming together and for helping each other to successfully have this accreditation. Dr. Nueva elucidates that this accreditation visit is a significant milestone toward the institution's goal of providing free but quality and excellent service to students. She commends the accreditors' crucial role in evaluating the academic programs and assures that the TCGC administration has continuously taken the challenge to strive for academic excellence. Thus, she broadens her gratitude for the accreditors' role in making a difference in the academy’s quest to produce God-centered citizens committed to being the light of the world.

 Honorable Sabiniano Canama, the City Mayor of Tangub City and Chair of the TCGC Board of Trustees, also gave his warm greetings to the accreditors for their effort and time to assess and/or accredit the programs in the institution. He also stated that TCGC is aspiring to innovate and offer other programs, including graduate school programs, in the future.

Dr. Imelda P. Soriano, Supervising Accreditor, delivered her message to the TCGC community. In a statement, Dr. Soriano says, “Accreditation is a testament to your dedication to academic excellence. Accreditation  is not a process, it's a culture, it's a celebration of your collective efforts". She stresses that this accreditation is an achievement of the institution as they will  assess the validation of documents in which the faculty and staffs invested sleepless nights, Certificate of Eligibility Requirements,  Campus Tour and Classroom Observations. These actions will be undertaken to effectively evaluate if the college's  vision, mission, and goals  best reflects the practices of the community. Her message was concluded with a statement, “We will do our best to help TCGC to be developmental. The findings and the recommendations will help the institution to grow more and become one of the best schools in Mindanao”.

Prof. Niel C. Enerio, the Executive Vice President, concluded this day's special program by acknowledging everyone's presence and for submitting themselves to the accreditation.
