As part of its community extension initiatives, the Institute of Criminal Justice Education (ICJE) of Tangub City Global College conducted "A Day of Service", a humanitarian outreach program that delivered school supplies and food packs to the partner communities of Barangays Owayan, Guinalaban, Catagan, and Santo Niño in Tangub City. Led by School President Dr. Maricel M. Nueva, ICJE Dean Dr. Love H. Falloran, Professor Riemond James C. Montalban, and the dedicated officers of ISMSTU and CITU, the initiative sought to provide immediate assistance to children and families facing socioeconomic challenges. Beyond distributing essential resources, the activity fostered compassion, volunteerism, and meaningful engagement between the institution and the communities it serves.
The outreach program demonstrated the college's commitment to promoting social inclusion and ensuring that vulnerable and underserved communities have greater access to basic educational materials and essential support. By addressing barriers that contribute to inequality and encouraging collective action for community welfare, the initiative strengthened partnerships that promote equitable opportunities and inclusive development. This community extension activity was aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, supporting its objective of reducing inequalities by empowering marginalized communities and ensuring that no one is left behind.
