The OFOP (One Family, One Professional) Scholarship Program, initiated by Governor Henry S. Oaminal, in partnership with Vice Governor Rowena Gutierrez, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Cong. Ando Oaminal, Cong. Jason Paredes Almonte, Tangub City Mayor Ben Canama, local chief executives, and the entire Asenso Misamis Occidental team, continues to open doors for deserving students to pursue and complete higher education. The program is designed to produce at least one professional per family—a deliberate attempt to transform education into a long-term poverty intervention. 

Each beneficiary received their ?5,000 monthly allowance, providing vital financial support for their educational needs. By addressing everyday costs—transportation, food, boarding, and school supplies—the program removes the quiet pressures that often force students to drop out. The structure of the payouts, whether monthly or cumulative, reflects an adaptive system responding to on-the-ground realities.

In partnership with the Local college, specifically Tangub City Global College, The initiative commenced during Academic Year 2023-2024, marking the start of its dedicated mission. Between the year 2023 and the first semester of 2025-2026, the program successfully produced 22 graduates. As of the second semester for AY 2025-2026, there are 55 active student beneficiaries currently supported.
