As part of its community extension and environmental stewardship initiatives, the Institute of Criminal Justice Education (ICJE) of Tangub City Global College, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Tangub City Chapter, actively participated in the World Water Day 2026 Coastal Clean-Up Drive held on March 25, 2026, at the Maloro Coastal Area, Tangub City. Guided by the theme "Water and Gender," the activity brought together Red Cross Youth (RCY) volunteers, ICJE students, and community partners in a collective effort to remove coastal waste, promote environmental awareness, and encourage responsible stewardship of water resources. The initiative also emphasized the important role of youth and communities in protecting marine ecosystems while fostering volunteerism and civic responsibility.

The coastal clean-up demonstrated the institution's commitment to environmental conservation, sustainable resource management, and collaborative community action. By helping restore the coastal environment and raising awareness of the importance of clean and accessible water, the activity contributed to climate resilience and the protection of coastal and marine ecosystems. Furthermore, the partnership between Tangub City Global College, the Philippine Red Cross, volunteers, and the local community strengthened collective efforts toward sustainable development. This community extension activity was aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation by promoting the protection of water resources, Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action through environmental stewardship, Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water by reducing coastal pollution, Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality by recognizing the role of gender-inclusive participation in water governance, and Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals through meaningful collaboration among educational institutions, humanitarian organizations, and the local community.
